1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on the user's device. Their use is governed by Art 22 of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the GDPR.
2. Cookies used on this site
This site sets no tracking, advertising, or affiliate cookies on your device. (A few pages link out to an affiliate partner — see section 3.)
Storage technologies in use:
- Cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): anonymous aggregated data, no cookies, no persistent identifiers. No prior consent required under the AEPD 2023 guidance.
- Strictly necessary storage (if any):

Because no consent-requiring cookies are set, this site shows no cookie consent banner.
3. Third-party cookies
The individual calculators are served from this same domain, each under its own path, and publish their own cookie policies. This hub itself sets no third-party cookies.
Where a page carries an affiliate link — the EU VAT OSS guide links to Lovat / vatcompliance.co, and some of the calculators link to a partner of their own — it is marked as such next to the link. Nothing is set on your device while you read the page: the link is an ordinary outbound link and no script from the partner runs here. Only if you click it does the partner's own site load, and any cookie it sets there — including the one that attributes the referral to us — is set by them, on their domain, under their cookie and privacy policies. Not clicking leaves no trace of it.
4. Disabling cookies
You can disable cookies in your browser settings (Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies; Firefox: about:preferences#privacy; Safari: Preferences → Privacy; Edge: edge://settings/privacy).
