About Creator Unit Math

Creator Unit Math is a family of free, single-purpose unit-economics tools for one-person businesses: day-rate math, digital-product margin, EU VAT applicability, and the planning arithmetic around them. Each tool answers exactly one question, deterministically, from a versioned dataset with cited primary sources — no account, no paywall.

Who runs it

The site is built and maintained by José Manuel Volante González, an independent developer based in Spain, operating as a natural person (the full provider identification required by Spanish Act 34/2002 is in the legal notice). Contact: [email protected].

The family of tools

Creator Unit Math is the hub of a set of specialist tools, each deployed on its own subdomain. One calculator is live today — the freelance day-rate calculator — and the hub only lists tools that actually exist: new family members appear in the directory when they ship, not before. The margin and VAT math is covered today by the guides, which follow the same data-verification discipline as the tools; that process is documented in the methodology. All properties share one operator, one verification process, and one design system.

How it is funded

The site is free to use and may carry programmatic ads. It currently contains no affiliate links — if that changes, an affiliate disclosure will ship together with the links, not after them. Analytics is cookieless and aggregate (cookie policy).

What this site is not

The tools and guides provide indicative calculations based on published rates and rules. They are not tax, legal, or financial advice, and they do not replace the official sources they cite — every figure links to the authority it was verified against so you can check it yourself.
